Pilgrimage to South Indiawith H.H 12th Gyalwang Drukpa from 9-15th Sept.
AS PER THE INSTRUCTION and WISH OF HIS HOLINESS, THE 12TH GYALWANG
DRUKPA, RIGZIN NAMGYAL HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED WITH ORGANIZING A
SHORT PILGRIMAGE IN SOUTH INDIA WITH HIS HOLINESS.
08 Sep: Arrive Banglore
1700 hrs :- His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will
be received by the Representative of the south zone office of
His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Rinpoches of all he kagyud
monastery at Bangalore International Air port.
1800: His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will be
received by the local Tibetan organisation, staff, students
of the colleges and the public at the gate of the hotel at Bangalore
and will halt at Hotel for one night
09 Sep: Drive Mysore
His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will be received by the Representative
of Hunsur and Bylakuppe and head of all the monastery of Bylakupee
at southern star hotel at Mysore and will take a rest for few
hours
1400 hrs :- His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will
be received on his arrival in the 1st floor of the drukkar drubgyud
thoesamling monastery and traditional ceremony will be done
with the offering of Mandal tensum by Ven, Drakseng Rinpoche
followed by all the Rinpoches of kagyud monastery and Representative
of both the settlement and Rep,of all the monasteries and presidents
of co-operative society and principal of C.S.T.and T.C.V.and
C.V.P.and other N.G.O. dignitaries.
10 Sep: Mysore
Schedule for the Day as follows:-
0900 :- His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will inaugurate
and consecrate the new assembly hall.
1000 :- Ven, Lopon Ngedhon Tenzin will give
welcome speech and briefly introduce about the background of
the monastery b Speech by Rep of the deptt of the religion and
culture
1100 :- His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will Bestow
his profound and invaluable speech.
1200 : Vote of thanks by Ven, Drakseng Rinpoche
1230 : lunch will be served
1400 till 1600 Hrs :- Cultural Show
Rest of evening free for leisure activity .
11 Sep: Mysore
Schedule for the Day as follows:-
0700 :- Mandala offering and prayer for His
Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa,s long life at drukkar drubgyud thoesamling
monastery by all the south zone Kagyudpa monastery
1400 :- His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will bestow
an empowerment of Avaloketeshwara (chenrezig Kawang) for public
at Palace (Gyalway Phodrang)
12.Sep : Drive to puttaparthy
Morning at 0900 hrs after breakfast we will proceed to Puttaparthy
where we will visit Ashram of Sathya Sai Baba.
13.Sep : Drive to Nagarjuna
Transfer to Nagarjuna Sagar by road: 500 kms. Lunch stop can
be provided at Kurnool. stay: Hotel Punnami in Nagarjuna Sagar
14.Sep : Pilgrimage tour of Nagarjuna Konda
Morning visit of Budhist Musuem, grand stupas etc through motor
boat on river Kirshna. 13 nautical miles from shore to Nagarjuna
Konda packed lunch can be organized. Return back to Nagarjuna
Sagar
15.Sep : Drive Vijaywada
Morning drive from Nagarjuna Sagar to Amravathi: 170 kms visit
of Musuem and grand stupa at Amravathi and latter drive to Vijayawada:
70 kms stay: either at DV Manor or Fortune Murali Park at vijayawada
16.Sep:- Drive Vijaywada to Hyderabad
Drive from Vijayawada to Hyderabad: 300 kms to Hyderabad new
airport.
